Just taking a quick survey to find out where Kiss Mes are scattered around the globe. Consider it research for science.
All I need is your name (first name will do) and your location. If you don’t want to put your small town name, put your closest city.
(Please be sure to share this, so we can get as many as possible.)
This photo fills me with so many feelings, you have no idea.
Or maybe you do. If you’re a Kiss Me. If you’ve ever been to a Korean event. If you’ve ever seen the dedicated, but painfully small fan base in Korea. How much we’ve dreamt that our boys could some day prove they were just as amazing as every other group that won their stupid awards on music shows. We always knew that the only reason U-Kiss didn’t do well in Korea wasn’t because they weren’t liked, or weren’t talented, but because the odds were against them. In Japan, those odds are gone.
Tonight they performed to a packed Budokan. It wasn’t a cluster of pink lights, or a group of pink in a massive arena surrounded by other k-pop fans. It wasn’t even a sea.
That is a KISS ME PINK ocean.
We can be an ocean of fans, just like they deserve.
Soohyun, Kiseop, Eli, AJ, Hoon, Kevin and Dongho, I am so proud of you. You’ve worked so hard, and wanted this so much. You never gave up, and you deserved tonight more than any other group that I know.
Does it sting a little, knowing that the success they have had in Japan will probably never transfer over here, where it matters so much to them personally? A little. But I think that now, it doesn’t matter where a Kiss Me comes from, just so long as they ARE a Kiss Me. Waving their pink light sticks from somewhere around the world.
